Why the Village Well?
Ed Center, founder of The Village Well, was a kid with big feelings and impulsive behaviors. He drove his mom and teachers crazy. Now he helps grown-ups to understand and support these kids. Ed was a high school teacher for six years and has worked in the education field his entire career.

It was a blessing to have Ed present a series of workshops for our after-school staff in understanding our triggers and de-escalating power struggles with students. My staff kept talking about his workshop, so I had to go check it out myself! He offers an effective toolkit of skills presented with vulnerable storytelling, humor, interactive activities, and engaging each participant. We are bringing him back next year for both our staff and parents.
